福州 Fúzhōu
Fuzhou
Fuzhou is a Fujian craft centre associated with bodiless lacquerware and other layered lacquer traditions.
This is a research lead, not a complete regional history. Fuzhou enters the atlas because it lets the same questions—material, substrate, curing and finishing—be asked of a documented production place.
The page will expand only when workshop interviews and object records can support finer distinctions between local traditions and broader commercial lacquerware.
