Lacquer layering and polishing
Lacquer layering builds a surface through repeated thin coats, controlled curing and polishing rather than one thick glossy application.
Layer count is often used as marketing shorthand, yet it is difficult to verify on a finished intact object. A credible account should explain the substrate, preparation, coating material and curing method.
Orienda will not recommend scratching, heating or solvent tests. Close examination and maker documentation come first; specialist analysis is reserved for cases that justify it.
